I would recommend the Comfort Inn in Edmunston to all my 4 legged friends who are travelling east over the holidays. They are dog friendly and the beds are comfy!

Winter is coming

OK, the coat is warm (my mom puts it on when SHE is cold...).
But I ask you, are the boots really necessary?

Stylish & comfy

My mom tells me that I look really cute in my new sweater. I feel a little silly but I humor her because she gives me treats.

New TV Show

I'm not much into talent shows but I wish we could get this one here: Dancing with the Dawgs.

Hiking

I had a great time hiking in Algonquin park last week. Here I am with my neighbours Matthew & Daniel and my dog-friend Katie. (How weird is it that we live next door and have the same name?).

The fall leaves

Our neighbour thinks she's putting out bread cubes for the birds. Ha! My mom tells me no but I'm very clever at sneaking a few every chance I get.Don't you just love chasing squirrels in the leaves?

Halloween

I couldn't decide what I wanted to be for Hallowe'en. A witch...

I'm at my Nanny's

My Nanny says that she doesn't like dogs. But I had a nap on her sofa today and she didn't mind at all. I bet she'll even let me have some Thanksgiving turkey tomorrow. I think I've won her over.

My adoption

I'm so comfortable in my home that it seems like I've lived here forever. But I was actually adopted through an organization called Loyal Rescue.

Back pack

Adam sent me a back pack & now I can carry my own treats & poop bags. My mom even made me carry her keys to doggy playgroup. Who can I report this abuse to???

Wags

We went to one of my favorite stores yesterday: Wags. It's great because I can sniff everything & my mom can have a coffee and talk with other people about their dogs. I'm pretty happy that we have to go back again to pick up a name tag we ordered for my collar.

Long day at the dog park

Zac turned out to be a pretty good guy after all. He challenged me on our walks to go a little faster and a little further.
I think I might even miss him when he goes home tonight.

Zac

I finally met this "Zac" that my mom seems to like so much. He's going to stay with us for a few days this weekend.

I guess he's OK but he's not getting my spot on the bed. And he's definately NOT sitting in MY booster seat in the car!

This is an old picture: he's had a haircut so he's less hairy now.

A boost from Adam

Adam sent "our" mom a box of really neat things from a pet store for her birthday. (Does that make him my brother?)

My favorite is the booster seat for the car so I can see out the window when we go for a drive.


















Watch for a future picture of me wearing my new backpack. I carried my own treats and poop bags in it to doggy playgroup tonight and all of the other dogs were jealous.

Going to the lake

I'm lying in my bed beside the computer in the office this morning, resting up for our big trip to the lake with Anka & Fred this afternoon. The only thing I love more than going in the car is chasing squirrels. I think today will be a day for both!

Dog-ersize

I'm putting on weight but I can't seem to resist the treats that the kids at doggy playgroup give me every night. My mom makes me run up and down the hill to try and wear them off.

Friends

Otis came to the cottage and we got along just great. I let him try out my life vest. He liked it, even though it's pink.

Auntie Jennifer & my mom took me out in the paddle boat.

Here I am with my aunt Anne. I love going to her cottage and having all of the aunties fuss over me.

We went to Prescott to visit Chuck & John & my new friend Dusty. As you can see, we both love treats.

We also had tea at Lucie's with Lucie & Jacquline.

Bower wanted to play with me but I wasn't having any of it. I growled at him and his grandma made him stay on his bed. I sure showed him!

Doggy play group

I love to play with my neighbourhood friends.

We meet everynight at 7:00 and there are usually about a dozen dogs there.

Cottage life

I love to go paddle boating at aunt Anne's cottage.








And surf boarding too!









But kayaking is my favorite.

My new home

This is my nanny, visiting from Stevensville.

Here I am in my 'den' in the living room, where I can curl up and still see everything that's going on.

This is my new harness. The seatbelt goes through the harness and keeps me safe in the car.
